GRANT REQUESTS AND SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS
NOW BEING ACCEPTED BY FALMOUTH ROAD RACE, INC.

Falmouth, MA, April 1, 2014. Falmouth Road Race, Inc. has created an organized submission process for receiving grant requests from the community. Requests are now be reviewed twice a year rather than on a rolling basis. Requests for this spring and summer will be accepted until May 1, 2014.
“Every year our community provides tremendous support by volunteering countless hours to make the Falmouth Road Race a world-class event that is enjoyed by elite and recreational runners as well as families from around the world,” said Scott Ghelfi, president of Falmouth Road Race, Inc. “We established the grant program as a way for us to give back and thank the community for its support for the past forty-one years.”
The organization awarded grants this winter to local organizations including FCTV, Falmouth Athletic Boosters, Falmouth Youth Hockey, and VIPS.
Organizations and groups interested in applying for a grant from the Falmouth Road Race, Inc. should provide the following with their request:

- The amount you are requesting

All applicants can visit www.falmouthitf.wpengine.com/philanthropy for grant proposal guidelines and information. All completed requests can be sent to philanthropy@falmouthroadrace.com for review.
In addition, as offered in previous years, there are ten scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors residing in Falmouth. Applications can be downloaded from falmouthitf.wpengine.com/scholarships and must be postmarked by Friday, April 18, 2014.
