Scholarships for Graduating High School Seniors
Falmouth Road Race, Inc. has established a Scholarship Program for graduating high school students who reside in Falmouth year-round. Graduating seniors who will be attending college or trade school are eligible for one of at least 10 available scholarships.
2021 marked the tenth year that FRR, Inc. has awarded scholarships to graduating seniors. 39 scholarships were awarded this year, totaling $52,500. Many of these recipients have volunteered with the race for years.
These scholarship awards represent just some of the $3.7 million the organization has given back to the community since 2012.
When will students receive their scholarship funds?
Recipients will be awarded scholarship funds in full after submitting a transcript showing successful completion of the fall 2021 semester and a copy of a spring 2022 tuition bill showing continued enrollment. Both documents to be submitted to the address below or by email at info@falmouthroadrace.com.

In 2020, the Cochary Gross Family, in lieu of sponsoring the annual Tommy Cochary High School Mile race, opted to share their gift to support our annual scholarship program.
“Although we are disappointed in having to delay the 10th running of the Tommy Cochary High School Mile, we continue our mission to support students by increasing our contribution to Falmouth Road Race, Inc. for its scholarship awards.
We know that the pandemic is putting extraordinary financial pressure on families and we don’t want this to limit the ability of Falmouth High School students to go to college. Our motto has been and will continue to be, ‘Make Smart Choices’ while transitioning into the next phase of your lives.
We look forward to making the celebration of the 10th annual Tommy Cochary High School Mile in the summer of 2021 even more inspiring.”
